A message from the chairman of CIFSA
As chairman of CIFSA, I personally look forward to the opportunity for CIFSA to help support IFA businesses in Cyprus, by providing a program of events and support mechanisms to enhance every IFA business in Cyprus. 2012 will see the rolling out of quarterly seminars, a new web site, newsletters, a business forum and CPD, all aimed at providing added value to IFA businesses in Cyprus.
The board of CIFSA is committed to the professional development of International Financial Services business in Cyprus. CIFSA believes that it is essential for all members to recognise the need to conduct business with highest standards both professionally and ethically.
CIFSA believes that locally based and locally regulated International Financial Advisers (IFA) can best serve the needs of their clients and in 2012 is looking forward to continuing to develop and improve the environment in which all member firms operate.
The board of CIFSA and its members value the role played by all regulators here in Cyprus and overseas and believe it is important that members are appraised of and knowledgeable about relevant regulations pertaining to their business.
As the Cyprus affiliated member of FECIF (Federation of European International Financial Advisers), CIFSA keeps members informed of relevant legislative changes from a European perspective.
CIFSA is looking to foster partnerships with all stakeholders in our industry in order to help to ensure that clients receive a professional service from professionally managed and operated IFA firms here in Cyprus.
